This fine wine is deep ruby in colour with attractive aromas of eucalyptus, dusty dried hay and chocolate. Prominent eucalyptus on the front palate is supported by soft, silky wood tannins, which the chocolate and dried hay flavours make a reappearance to linger on the aftertaste. The wine is ready to drink now, but will mature well for at least 6 years from harvest.
Serve with juicy fillet steak and a mushroom sauce. Also goes well with less heavy dishes such as roast beef, roast chicken and grilled fish.
