The wine is dark plum in colour, clear and brilliant. Mouth-watering ripe plum aromas with whiffs of liquorice and mint follow through on the soft, accessible palate.

Serve with red meat dishes such as lasagne or cheese.

in the vineyard : Trellised, 6-year-old vines planted on west-facing slopes yielded the grapes for this wine. The vines received supplementary drip irrigation and produced 10 tons per hectare.

in the cellar : The must fermented in stainless steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation occurred in the tanks.
A 30% portion of the wine was matured in French oak barrels.
