Dark, dark Red, nearly Black. A firework of flavours, a real explosion of Pinotage. It is filled with ripe plums, banana with a smoky oak character. It is very complex and concentrated with a full round mouthfeel. This wine has the intensity and potential to develop seriously well.

in the cellar : This extraordinary wine will definitively live up to the standard of our maiden vintage in 1997, if not better. The grapes for this wine were picked at optimal ripeness, crushed and gently fermented at warmer temperatures in stainless steel tanks of a period of two weeks. After fermentation and maceration on skins the wine was aged for one year in small American and French oak barrels before it was bottled in March 1999.
