in the cellar : Nederburg set the precedent by making South Africaâ€™s first dessert wine from grapes infected with noble rot (botrytis cinerea) and continues to be the benchmark for industry followers. Made from Chenin Blanc, Muscadel and Semillon, at least 50% of the blend is produced from noble rot grapes with the balance picked at full ripeness.
