An opulent blend of Shiraz, Merlot with a touch of Cabernet. Dark chocolate, coffee mocha and lead pencil suggest a big hedonistic "stallion" of a wine. The palate has lilee elegance with layers of coffee mocha and dark stone fruit. A shining finish - long rich espresso.

about the harvest: The grapes for this wine were picked at full ripeness to ensure optimum flavour. Following gentle crushing the grapes were cold soaked for 24 hours.

in the cellar : Regular pump-over (2 to 3 times a day) aided the extraction of the desired colour and flavour, while 20 months of maturation in small French oak barrels added to the complexity. The wine is the result of a careful blending process to find that wine to make the Lindhorst â€œStatementâ€.
