Dark black cherry in colour, with a youthful purple edge. Appealing aromas of black berry fruit mingle with whiffs of vanilla spice and hints of mocha. The berry fruit follows through on the full, well-balanced palate where touches of tobacco add to the stylish elegance.

Trellised, 9-year-old vines planted on southwest-facing slopes yielded the grapes for this wine. The vineyards received supplementary drip irrigation and produced 6 tons per hectare.

about the harvest: Grapes from selected vineyard blocks were hand-harvested at 24.8Â° Balling, meticulously sorted, gently crushed and cooled down to 12Â°C.

in the cellar : Cold soaking preceded temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks and the fermentation was completed in oak barrels. Maturation in French oak barrels broadened the flavours and added complexity and finesse. The wines from specially
selected barrels were then blended to create this ultra premium wine.
