Veenwouden Classic 1995

A full-bodied Cape Bordeaux-Style blend which was matured in new 2251 Nevers barriques for 24 months. A saturated dark-ruby colour with an emerging bouquet of red and blackberries, violets, minerals and spice. Very good concentration, smooth, supple, ripe fruit with high flavour intensity combined with finesse and elegance. It ends with a long finish.This wine should gain weight and richness as it ages for the years to come.
