Destiny Shiraz 2003

Voluptuous, intense, sensuous and well-balanced. Complex and layered with mouthfilling rich, ripe red and black berries with a hint of licorice, pepper and spice. The tannins are supple and all the components of the wine are in harmony. The finish is long and savoury.

about the harvest: The grapes were handpicked at optimal ripeness and foot-crushed.

in the cellar : During fermentation in open bins, the must was pushed through by hand every 4-5 hours. The skins were basket-pressed and malolactic fermentation occurred in the barrel. The wine matured in French and American oak for 16 months. Futher bottle maturation of 14 months before the wine was released. Each bottle is numbered â€“ only 970 bottles were made.
