Destiny Shiraz 2002

Voluptuous, intense, sensuous and well-balanced. Complex and layered with mouthfilling rich, ripe red and black berries with a hint of liquorice, pepper and spice. The tannins are supple and all the components of the wine are in harmony. The finish is long and savoury.

about the harvest: The grapes were handpicked at optimal ripeness and foot-crushed.

in the cellar : During fermentation in open bins the must was pushed through by hand every 4-5 hours. The skins were basket-pressed and malolactic fermentation occurred in the barrel. The wine matured in new oak for 16 months - One Radoux French oak barrel and, One Radoux American oak barrel. Further bottle maturation of 8 months before the wine was released. Each bottle is numbered - only 500 bottles were made.
