Colour: Salmon pink.
Bouquet: Strawberries and lively herbaceous character.
Taste: Refreshingly fruity and elegant. The berry character follow through nicely. Uncomplicated and very pleasant, this wine will complement most light food dishes.

Great for summer, enjoy on its own or with a salad, light lunch or deserts that involves cream and berries.

in the vineyard : Viticulturist: Eben Archer
Planted between 1991 and 1996 the vineyards grow on westerly and south-westerly facing slopes, 95 m above sea level. The vines grafted onto nematode-resistant Richter 99 and 110 rootstocks are trellised on a five-wire system and receive supplementary irrigation from an overhead sprinkler system.
about the harvest: The grapes were harvested by hand and machine in late February between 24° and 25° Balling.
in the cellar : The winemaking (winemaker: De Wet Viljoen)
They were then crushed, the juice separated from the skins and fermented for 16 days at 14°C.
