Planted between 1991 and 1996 the vineyards grow on westerly and south-westerly facing slopes, 95 m above sea level. The vines grafted onto nematode-resistant Richter 99 and 110 rootstocks are trellised on a five-wire system and receive supplementary irrigation from an overhead sprinkler system.

about the harvest: The grapes were harvested by hand and machine in late February between 24° and 25° Balling.

in the cellar : The winemaking (winemaker: De Wet Viljoen)
They were then crushed, the juice separated from the skins and fermented for 16 days at 14°C.
