Nose: Full ripe fruit, wood matured but subtle nuances in harmony with strong berry flavours with a tendency a Pinot Noir farmyard richness.Taste: Rich mouthfeel, creamy ample fruit exploding in the mid-palate, long strong soft tannin in harmony with slight sweetness in aftertaste.This wine is a bit in your face, new world style. The challenge was that it must be different from the other loacal wines and to keep them guessing.The sister batch (Stormhoek) of this wine was last year's Best Pinotage at the IWSC of South Africa.
