Rozier Bay Cabernet Sauvignon

2005 John Platter Wine Guide - 3 stars
Veritas 2005 - Bronze
2005 International Wine and Spirit Competition (IWSC) - Bronze

Full bodied deep purple leads into fine blackberry/cassis aroma’s with hints of new spicy oak. Warm blackberries and tarry nuances are balanced by silky, elegant tannins.

A tender fillet steak, a lamb shank and game patés would all benefit from such a partner and strong cheeses such as Munster should not be served without a delicious Cabernet Sauvignon.

in the vineyard : Strict selection is the key to Cabernet Sauvignon. There are some extremely hot spots, but also some cool spots in the Cape. We believe that Stellenbosch is the ideal growing area to achieve quality grapes that will deliver a wine with power, structure and finesse.

Now the most widely planted premium red variety in South Africa, Cabernet Sauvignon produces some of the Cape’s highest profile red wines that compare favourably against the finest wines in the world.
