Zandvliet Kalkveld Hill of Enon Small berry pick 2003

Limited Edition Wine
Colour:
Dark ruby red.
Bouquet: The nose is closed at first pouring but opens beautifully in the glass. Decanting is therefore strongly recommended! Smokey, tarry, yet sweet aromas of black, ripe cherries and liquorice. Whiffs of cedarwood and pencil shavings are finely layered in the well integrated spicy oak and fruit aromas.
Palate: A true wine with the aromas following seamlessly through on the palate. The superbly ripened fruit and tannins are wellbalanced with the subtle oak flavours. A persistent, lively aftertaste completing the harmonious taste experience is manifest of the winemaker's art and the unique Kalkveld terroir.

Decant before pouring and chill to 18° C for best results.
