Intense deep plum purple colour. Powerful fruit aromas of blackcurrant and plum, with toasty wood and tobacco overtones. A balanced mouthful, packed with flavour, mainly cassis, ripe berry, some coffee and a hint of mint. A big wine with prominent but balanced and well integrated tannins and acid. Classic claret style, with a lingering finish.
