The grapes have been sourced from two vineyards in the Walker Bay (representing 45% of the total “blendâ€) and one in the Villiersdorp area. Each vineyard adds its own dimension to the final wine and the blend was carefully constructed with the objective of creating an aromatic South African styled Sauvignon blanc – somewhere between the overt fruit of the New World style and the tight, minerally, restrained styles of the Loire. Ripeness and palate complexity characterise our Southern Right Sauvignon blanc and in addition the 2000 vintage shows lifted fruit and a tight acid line on the palate.
