Kleinbosch Cabernet Sauvignon 2000

Dark red, clear and brilliant. Blackberry, with hints of coffee beans and chocolate - an abundance of subtle aromas. Medium bodied and mouth filling, complex fruit with tannins still evident, gripping on the palate, with strong follow-through and a lingering aftertaste.

AWARDS
Veritas Bronze Medal winner.

ageing : Cabernet Sauvignon has abundant ripe fruit, with enough backbone to mature for up to 4 years. The spicy overtones will blossom as the wine matures in the bottle.

in the cellar : After destalking, the free-run juice and berries are fermented on the skins until the correct colour intensity and tannin concentration have been reached, after which the wine is drawn off and the skins pressed to complete fermentation in stainless steel containers. The wine is then oak matured until bottling.
