in the vineyard :  Super summer weather conditions have presented optimistically quality fruit which has met with all expectations stemming from the rewarding 2007 Pinot noir vintage. Pinot noir is said to be the most terroir specific variety of all. Such variations are not only manifested through soil type but also through viticultural practice.

The combined results from (a) high density plantings (b) low cropping levels, (c) heavy clay soils (d) best barrel selections (e) and years of experience. All reflected in this cameo bottling out of three chosen barrels.

in the cellar : In the winemaking 10% of grapes were supplied as whole bunch and 50% as whole berry. Cold maceration for 4 - 5 days with post fermentation maceration of 10 days. Lightly pressed and barrel matured for 16 months. Then wine was bottled as unfiltered - after thorough microbiological examination.
