Tokara Zondernaam Chardonnay 2009

The wine displays a pale straw colour with a hint of green on the rim. The nose displays perfumed floral aromas with lime, lemon rind and apricot notes, underpinned by notes of buttered toast and marzipan, hinting of balanced oak. The wine is fresh and crisp with intense flavours of lemon rind, limes and baked apple. It has a lingering dry finish and shows subtle toasted oak, which adds complexity.

A perfect pairing with duck, quail and any fish dishes.
