This juicy, ripe and approachable Shiraz with its ruby colour and purple tints, has a spicy white pepper undertone as well as lavender and dark red fruit aromas. It is characterised by its versatility, demonstrating a smooth and soft palate and a savoury finish.

in the vineyard : The 2009 vintage promises to be an exceptional year for red wine, due to the perfect conditions throughout the season. Warmer weather and no rain just before harvest helped with the complete ripening of reds.
about the harvest: The Shiraz grapes where 100% hand picked in the refreshing hours of the early morning from a selection of cool vineyard sites in the Stellenbosch region.
in the cellar : Matured for 12 months in older French and American oak barrels, to maintain the lovely freshness of this varietal. Fermentation took place at cooler temperatures, around 24° C.
