Jean Daneel Signature Red 2005

The wine has strong black berry flavours, firm tannins and good integration between fruit and wood with a very long ageing potential.

in the cellar : The blend consist of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Shiraz. After the grapes arrived at the cellar it underwent cold maseration for 2 weeks. Thereafter the fermentation started and it fermented for 4 weeks until dry and then only pumped into the small French oak barrels for ageing. The wine stayed in the barrels for 33 months.
