in the vineyard : The Weisser Riesling was harvested from 24 year old (Geisenheim clone 239) unirrigated vineyards, situated on decomposed granite soils, 300m above sea level.

about the harvest: The grapes were hand-harvested on 3rd March 2010.

in the cellar : The Riesling was harvested at 22.6°B and tank fermented at 15°C. Once the perfect balance between fruit and acidity was reached, the fermentation was stopped to retain a hint of natural residual sugar.
