Ripe cherries and sweet spice on the nose. Notes of aniseed continue on the palate with concentrated dark fruit flavours. Soft tannins make for the perfect everyday drinking wine.

in the vineyard : Predominantly sourced from temperate vineyards in Stellenbosch, where the longer ripening period adds concentrated flavour. Supplemented by grapes sourced from high-lying vineyards in the Paarl area.

in the cellar : Grapes were fermented in stainless steel tanks, pressed and sent to 225 litre barriques for 10 months. Older French and American oak barrels were used.
