The grapes used to make this Pinotage come from 3 vineyard blocks. These vineyards are old dry-land bush vines between 20 and 40 years old. Vines grow in weathered granite soils with small yields are hand-picked at 25°Balling.

about the harvest: The best bunches are individually selected in the vineyard.

in the cellar : Berry sorting at the cellar. Fermented in open French oak barrels with daily punch downs. After malolactic fermentation in barrel 50% of the wine was matured in new French oak and 50% in second fill barrels for a period of 12 months.
