in the vineyard : Selected Merlot vineyards from the Franschhoek estate planted on deep sloping Table Mountain Sandstone and from the Stellenbosch estate planted on decomposed granite soils.

about the harvest: Handpicked at optimum ripeness at 25° - 26° B in the last week of February from our Franschhoek vineyards and the second week of March from our Stellenbosch vineyard.

in the cellar : Hand- picked at optimum ripeness and gentle handling ensures upfront fruit flavours and soft extraction. Barrel maturation for 14 months in 1st, 2nd and 3rd fill French Oak from selected coopers.
