Wine Style: Medium-bodied, New Worldgently wooded.
Nose: Alluring aromas of prune and plumsupported by indulgent coffee andtoffee undertones.
Palate: Blueberries and light cherries join theplum flavours in order to produce awell-structured, velvety soft wine.

Enjoy with hearty meat dishes likevenison stew, ‘‘tamatiebredie”or evenoxtail. This wine can also pair withlighter meals that are tomato andherb-based such as caprese salad andbolognaise.

about the harvest: Grapes came from Swartland andPerdeberg. Picked at 26° Balling,

in the cellar : 50% of this blend was matured in225 litre French oak barrels for aperiod of 12 months. The balancewas oak staved for 8 months withadded micro-oxygenation.

Grapes were sorted, de-stemmed,crushed and fermented at 28° C. Post fermentation with 7days skin contact.
