Klein Constantia Marlbrook 2010

A spicy nose of white pepper and vanilla is complemented by ripe, sweet fruit on both the nose and palate. Flavours of plum, cherries and blackcurrant as well as cinnamon and paprika add to the complexity and structure of the wine and balanced tannins allow for a grippy finish.

The 2010 Marlbrook vintage was made with the aim of creating a wine that is both serious in structure but also has enough fruit to round it off both on the palate and nose.

in the cellar : Each and every barrel was tasted, evaluated and carefully selected to meet with the classic Marlbrook style. The wine spent 16 months in 60% new oak barrels. This allowed for further development and tannin integration which is very evident in the wine to day.
