Gooseberry, fig and granadilla vibrancy are fleshed out with a lime zest and grassy nuance to the bouquet.Typical Sauvignon Blanc lemon and lime zest flavours abound on the palate. Vibrant fresh acidity and some gravelly, flint notes too. Clean and focused with a defined dry tail.

in the vineyard : This wine is a 100% Sauvignon blanc made from grapes from L’Ormarins, Franschhoek - a warmer climate, and from Altima in Villiersdorp - a cooler climate, where the 2nd highest vineyards in South Africa are situated. Elandskloof also has very inty, granite soils. The warm climate offers good fruitiness and lovely tropical characters, while the cool climate
gives aromatics of green pepper and asparagus.

Grapes were harvested by hand at 22.4° Balling

in the cellar : The grapes were crushed and de-stemmed with skin contact of 24 hours, followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The wine was left on its primary lees for 4 months.
