Nederburg Rhine Riesling 2001

The 2001 Nederburg Rhine Riesling is a harmoniously balanced off-dry white wine, possessing all the characters of the delicately fragrant noble Weisser Riesling cultivar. It has an intense terpene and flowery varietal aroma with crisp lemon-like fruity flavours, supported by an excellent sugar/acid balance that will ensure graceful ageing. This GewÃ¼rztraminer is made from specially selected cool area grapes harvested with 20 percent botrytis that adds structure and a spicy, rose petal fragrance to the wine. This delightfully versatile wine makes an excellent apÃ©ritif served chilled and will enhance many fine dishes.
