Dry red wine blend (Cape Blend).First made in 2000, the 'Steytler Vision' is our Cape Blend. Cabernet Sauvignon exudes power, length and structure while our endemic Pinotage creates a uniquely South African feel. Gentle Merlot fruit binds it all together. The aptly named Steytler Vision is the realization of Danie Snr’s innovation and craftsmanship.

in the vineyard :

Vines planted in weathered granite topsoil on a layer of gravel, above a crumbly clay sub-soil. Yield of 5 tons per hectare.

in the cellar :

The three cultivars were vinified and aged separately in small French oak barrels for 28 months, personally selected by the winemaker and then blended together.
