Plum and blackcurrant juiciness with layers of sweet spices and spikes of black pepper. Ripe tannins ensure a soft finish.

A match made in heaven with slow-cooked lamb shanks or braised oxtail with gremolata. Also good with roast chicken and vegetable gratins made with a generous amount of gruyère cheese.
