The wine has a crimson colour with a dark core. A perfume of wild blackberry and cranberry fills the glass with gentle hints of violets, cocoa and cured meat savouriness. On the palate, there are complex flavours of creamy strawberry, ripe plum and a touch of tilled earth and fynbos. It is a well-balanced wine with fine, well-integrated tannins that leaves a long dry finish.
