Ruby red, clear and brilliant. A touch of mulberries, typical banana peel - just an abundance of subtle aromas. Mouthfilling, lots of fruit with soft tannins, a good follow-through and aftertaste, with well-balanced acidity.

ageing : Pinotage is ready for drinking at the time of release, and will mature for up to three years in the bottle.

in the cellar : After destalking, the free-run juice and berries are inoculated with specially selected yeast strains to start fermentation. The juice will ferment on the skins until the wine maker decides that the correct colour intensity and tannin concentration have been reached, after which the wine is drawn off and the skins to complete fermentation in stainless steel containers.
