Generation 8, our generation, has a deep respect for provenance, coupled with a passion for progress on the land where we live and work together. This holds us accountable for producing excellence now. ‘Dedicated to better’ is our motto both in terms of wine quality and the impact we have on the environment and our community. True to origin, these single varietal, fruit-driven wines are an honest rendition of terroir and mutual trust.

in the vineyard : The grapes were hand-harvested from our vineyards in the Wellington region. These different vineyards are planted in granite soils in the Bovlei, and schist soils near Hermon, which give the wine a fruit-driven style from the former, and a finely structured elegance from the latter.

in the cellar : Grapes are hand-harvested and de-stemmed before fermentation. For the extraction of colour, pump-overs and punch downs were executed during fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Before alcoholic fermentation is complete, the must is pressed to ensure that the tannin expression is fine and subtle. A portion of the wine is matured in French oak for 4 months.
