A fruity New World style Shiraz with cherry and plum flavours upfront with a hint of violet. The wood flavours are well intergrated supported with some spice and pepperiness unique to this cultivar.

Roasts, venison, steak, etc. will be complimented well by this wine.

in the vineyard : The grapes came from Shiraz vineyards planted in 1978. The vineyards are trellised and face northwest.

about the harvest: The grapes were hand picked at between 23,5 and 25,5° Balling, during the cool, early mornings in late February and hand-selected before being delivered to the cellar.
