in the vineyard : A blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and 20% Shiraz. Vineyards were pruned to two-bud spurs and excess shoots removed, leaving only two to three per hand-spaced spur. After veraison, uneven bunches were removed for better flavour concentration in the berries.

about the harvest: Grapes were both hand and machine-picked.

in the cellar : The grapes were pressed at completion of fermentation to extract the soft tannins. After fermentation, the wine was matured briefly in large oak vats before bottling.
