Bilton Shiraz 2002

International Wine & Spirit Competition 2004 - Silver
Fairbairn Capital Trophy Wine Show 2004 - Bronze
2nd place out of 52 wines at Dave Hughes's Wine500 tasting

A fragrant wine with billowing aromas of blackberry, raspberry and hints of freshly tilled soil, herbs and spice. Vanilla comes floating through on the second wave, accompanied by attractive whiffs of pepper and clove, and in the background, fine oak. The well rounded palate rewards with succulent, sweet fruit elegantly balanced by a savoury touch and supported by supple tannins.

Strongly recommended with roast lamb and mint sauce or well-cured ham.
