This wine, released in January 2003, is the first Tempranillo in South africa. This grape variety is well-known in the Rioja region in Spain.
in the vineyard : Low yields from 6 year old vines planted on very poor clay soil.
in the cellar : 24 hours skin contact before fermentation, pressed at 5º Balling. After malolactic fermentation, it was wooded for 5 months with 25% American oak, and 75% French oak.
