This medium-bodied wine has creamy-rich and fruit flavours and a seductive silky finish.
This wine, released in January 2004, is the only Tempranillo in South Africa. This grape variety is well-known in the Rioja region in Spain.

Ideal accompaniment to smoked carpaccio, springbok and poultry dishes.

in the vineyard : Low yields from 7 year old vines planted on very poor clay soil.

in the cellar : 24 hours skin contact before fermentation. Pressed at 5º Balling. After malo-lactic fermentation, it was wooded for 5 months with 25% American & 75% French Oak barrels.
