Best in Class Silver - International Wine and Spirit Competition (IWSC) 2005
This wine has a vibrant deep plum colour, with dense aromas of rich red berry fruit that supports the gentle tannic structure and long aftertaste.
Boets and Stroebel Nel released the first single-variety Touriga Nacional dry red wine in South Africa in 2000. Now, after three years of blending trials, the Red Stone Reserve is born. This flagship red blend, named after the breathtaking red stone hills near Calitzdorp, depicts the true terroir of Calitzdorp. The wine is made in very limited quantities and bottled in an elegant bottle, with the label screen-printed on the bottle.
It is an ideal accompaniment to ostrich fillet or Karoo lamb.
