in the vineyard : The vines from which these grapes were picked are nine years old and achieved top viticultural honours in 2004, having been awarded a Gold Medal at the annual Vinpro Block Evaluation competition.

in the cellar : Only the best quality grapes were selected and fermented in half -ton open fermenters. Grapes were punched down by hand four times a day until dry. Grapes were gravity fed and gently pressed. The wine went through malolactic fermentation in the barrels and was matured for ten months in second fill French oak barrels to produce a well-integrated complex Shiraz.
