Dark ruby in colour, with a youthful purple edge. On the nose inviting whiffs of berry fruit are complemented by subtle chocolate and secondary meaty aromas. An elegant wine with classic Merlot fruit on the rich, juicy palate and a hint of spice on the lingering finish. Firm tannins promise excellent maturation potential.

Serve with spicy red meat dishes such as curry.

Vineyard:
Trellised, 10 year-old vines planted on south-facing slopes yielded the grapes for this wine. The vineyards received supplementary drip irrigation and produced 7 tons per hectare.
about the harvest: Grapes from selected vineyard blocks were hand-harvested at optimum ripeness, meticulously sorted, gently crushed and cooled down to 12°C.
in the cellar : Cold soaking preceded temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks and the fermentation was completed in oak barrels. Maturation in French oak barrels broadened the flavours and added complexity and finesse. The wines from specially selected barrels were then blended to create this ultra premium wine. The wine also contains a small percentage (6%) Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot.
