This wine was inspired by the constellation Hercules, whose brightest star is a 'giant red' called Rasalgethi. Hercules is known as 'the Hero' after completing 'the twelve labours' to earn his bride.
A medium styled wine with a garnet red colour. The nose is typical Italian Sangiovese earthiness, red berry fruits from the Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot follow through onto a soft yet complex palate.

A compliment to Mediterranean food. Perhaps a rich wild mushroom risotto or veal with Parmesan shavings and truffle oil.
