in the vineyard : Soil: Weathered granite and clovelly from Paarl Mountain.
Climate: Wet winters and warm summers, tempered by cool ocean breezes from over the mountain.

about the harvest: Grapes were harvested at 23Â° B.

in the cellar : Using wild yeast, they were then fermented down by 6Â° B. The juice were fortified to 17% alcohol/vol by using brandy distilled from Pinotage. The wines was matured in small oak barrels.
