One of the finest Bordeaux style blends produced consisting of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot aged for 18 months mainly on new French oak. Dark chocolate and intense berry flavours take hands on a palate rounded with mint leafy flavours and subtle ageing tannins. In addition to the strong menthol fresh flavours on the nose, the dark berries from the Cabernet and Merlot are easily traceable as well. With the first encounter, Cabernet overwhelms the palate, but this is quickly soothed with soft Merlot flavours showing great balance and intensity in the wine.
