in the vineyard : 

Pinotage blocks planted on granite gravels in Firgrove, Stellenbosch and loamy Table mountain sandstone in Franschhoek. Vineyards produce around 6 tons per hectare.

about the harvest: Handpicked at optimum ripeness.

in the cellar : 

Fermented in open and closed fermenters with regular punch downs and pump overs. 12 Months maturation in new (30%) and 2nd fill American and French oak.
