The Waterford label was launched in 1998 with a Cabernet Sauvignon and a Sauvignon Blanc. The Chardonnay was added a year later. In 2004 the vineyards and property was registered as an estate and the labels were changed to Waterford Estate.

Dense graphite, blackberry and violet nose. Hints of shaved lead pencil and fennel seed. Dense, rich palate with mouth-filling structure. Big, but finely judged tannin, Well integrated and a long dry finish.

Enjoy alongside a rare grilled fillet of Karan beef and sauce béarnaise.
