60% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon. A complex, well-balanced red wine with typical minty, pepper and berry flavours resulting from the two varietals complementing each other. An easy-drinking wine with a soft finish. Serve with game and other red meat.

Weathered granite and clovelly from Paarl Moutains.

Vinification
Grapes were harvested at 23,4Â°B and fermented dry on the skins. Underwent malolactic fermentation. Three rackings were done, after which the wine was matured in 300-litre French oak barrels for twelve months. Minimum filtration was done to protect the typical varietal character.
