in the vineyard : Climate: Wet winters and warm summers, tempered by cool ocean breezes from over the mountain.
Soil: Weathered granite and clovelly from Paarl Mountain.

about the harvest: Grapes were harvested at 23.4° Balling.

in the cellar : The grapes were fermented dry on the skins. Underwent malolactic fermentation. Three rackings were done, after which the wine was matured in 300 Litre French oak barrels for twelve months. Minimum filtration was done to protect the typical varietal character.
