Mediterranean - rainfall 650mm per annum Vineyards situated on northern slopes and at the end of the valley hence slightly warmer conditions.

Soil
Deep red soils. A mixture of weathered granite and a small percentage of clay, Clovelly and Hutton structore. structure.

Vinification/Maturing
Fermented in open top fermentation vats, pressed and left to mature in French 225L barrels for 14 months. Bottled and left to mature another 15 months.

Tasing Notes
Colour : Intense red colour.
Aroma : Blackberry, red currant and mint aromas with atouch of eucalyptus.
Palate : The above reverberates on the palate, where some dry herb character also shows. Long fresh finish.
