Intense red colour. Blackberry, red currant and mint aromas with a touch of eucalyptus. The aroma reverberates on the palate, where some dry herb character also shows. Long fresh finish.

in the vineyard : Vineyards situated on north facing slopes and at the end of the valley hence slightly warmer conditions. Deep red soils. A mixture of weathered granite and a small percentage of clay, Clovelly and Hutton structure.

in the cellar : Fermented in open top fermentation vats, pressed and left to mature in French 225L barrels for 14 months. Bottled and left to mature another 15 months.
